How Somatic Mindfulness Can Help
Somatic mindfulness is easy to learn and use; has been scientifically validated as beneficial, helping to foster self-regulation, stress management, cognitive reframing and attitudinal healing.
Though somatic mindfulness is not attached to any particular religion, it helps in nurturing spiritual growth as well as emotional literacy.
With somatic mindfulness, one is better able to identify, express, and manage feelings and have greater impulse control and heightened self-awareness and self-understanding.
Social skills and the ability to communicate effectively are enhanced.
These methods have proven effective across diverse communities including:
- Unsheltered and incarcerated individuals
- At-risk youth and students
- Physicians, nurses, and educators
- CEOs and professionals in many fields
What To Expect In A Session
How many sessions always depends on the individual and the layers needed to be strengthened and cleared so the love, comfort and freedom can blossom bigger and fuller.
Sessions are available by phone, online, or in person at one of my office locations in Walnut Creek, Sausalito, and Modesto.
I teach mindfulness practices in private consultations, small groups, seminars, and professional trainings.
During a Somatic Mindfulness session, you’ll learn simple, practical exercises that connect body awareness with mindful attention. These skills are easy to integrate into daily life and can be practiced anywhere.
In all the work I provide, I weave in my Somatic Mindful Guided Imagery® (SMGI®) toolset, a gentle way to tap into and draw out the power of your own inner wisdom.
